About The Erin Fall Fair
Organized by the Erin Agricultural Society, the Erin Agricultural Fair is held every Autumn over the Thanksgiving Weekend. This year will mark it’s 172nd year! It’s a popular event for both the residents of Erin as well as those from surrounding communities throughout Wellington, Caledon, and Dufferin Counties. Visitors travel many kms to attend the fall fair, including from Orangeville, Guelph, Brampton, Guelph, Acton, Halton Hills, Georgetown and more.
It’s a fantastic event for people of all ages including families and features entertainment, agricultural events and competitions, and even a Midway.
The goal of the Erin Agricultural Society in holding their fall fair “is to create awareness and to foster education about agriculture, farming and country life.”
In the early days, the fair was often compared to the Canadian National Exhibition – sometimes referred to as a mini-version of the CNE. It has been a popular event for over a century.
Fair Opening – Thursday Afternoon
While officially the fair does not open until Friday, October 7th, 2022, the gates do open on Thursday at 5:00PM. From then until 11PM, all midway rides and admission is just a “Tooney” – or $2.00. Midway rides are provided by Robertson’s Amusements. Featured will be rides that will thrill the kiddies, rides for the family, and “Spectacular Rides” including those meant for the experience of speed, and their 65′ Century Wheel.
If midway rides aren’t your thing, you’ll enjoy the food and game concessions – try your skill and luck to win a great prize! Game concessions for all ages and skill levels.

Headwaters Home Improvement Centre Involvement
We love the community of Erin, and it’s an honour for us to serve the area and to get involved in the community!
The Erin Fall Fair is no exception – it’s a great weekend for the community to all come together, learn about what our local but rural farmers are doing, and inviting those from outside the community to come and check out Erin and what it has to offer. Most of us are friendly and happy to see people from other places coming to visit and the Erin Fall Fair is a great reason to come and visit us.
So our involvement with the fair is through a partnership at the Community Builder level, the highest partnership level available.
But we think it’s worth it to give back to our community and to be involved as much as possible!
Please note that event times and names may change – please see the official schedule at the Erin Fall Fair website.
