N95 Respirator Masks – Safety Equipment Available

Headwaters Home Improvement Centre has been working hard with the Provincial Government of Ontario to help supply local hospitals and first responders with N95 Particulate Respirators during the NOVID-19 pandemic. However, we also do have a limited quantity available for purchase by the general public.

The 3M 8511 N95 Particulate Respirator is made to high standards in the USA and has been approved for use in hospitals and medical settings at this time.

The mask has been designed for comfort during extended times of wear. It features a patented Advanced Electret Media and the Cool Flow Exhalation Valve to make breathing easier and cooler.

It can help reduce inhalation exposures to certain airborne biological particles including: mold, Bacillus Anthracis or Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. NIOSH approved and compatible with a variety of protective eyewear and hearing protection.

According to the Orangeville Banner, “The N95 mask is believed to be the “best protection” against coronavirus for Ontario health-care professionals, but – just like the global response to COVID-19 – the situation is constantly evolving.”

As noted, our first priority is to help first responders and hospitals acquire the N95 masks but we do have a quantity available with more coming soon, for the general public.
